Coca-Cola had run CokeTv on YouTube for two years prior to this season. Ogilvy developed a teen study, which showed the teenagers felt they were under an enormous pressure. Pressure to deliver constantly and not make mistakes with no room for being spontaneous because of the constant fear of not being good enough.
We created Spin The Bottle - a concept which embraces the unplanned experiences. We’ve added an element of reflection to the concept, which aimed at teaching the teens that leaving a comfort zone can be a valuable lesson. We casted new influencers to host the program who had the ability to reflect, developed new graphic identity which was more contemporary than the previous. We also developed scripts which all had an underlaying message of self-acceptance.
Additionally, we created animations for teens for them to interact with the concept which allowed us to ask them questions and build episodes that resonates with them based on their comments.
